In the post-apocalyptic Republic of Texas, orphaned Rozene York tries to make a life for herself on the surface, but it isn’t going as she had hoped. Desperate for something better, she answers a summons from her deceased grandfather’s executor and travels to Silver Springs only to find that her true inheritance is a secret legacy that has been passed on for generations involving her family land.
As the last of her line, Rozene is the only one who can save the six brothers who are cursed to endure forever and driven to feed on the living. They are Wendigoag, soul eaters, and without Rozene they will lose their centuries long battle against the demon who cursed them.
The Wendigoag are not the only ancient secret left exposed by a civilization left in ruins. When another war begins among the two-natured, Rozene is caught between the deadly territorial battles of werewolves and bear shifters.
However, another battle rages within Rozene’s heart between a sexy cowboy, an infuriating chief, and a cursed one who needs her as much as she needs him.
Fear is weakness. Control is power.
He betrayed her parents, left her to be raised by a sadistic Earth Loyalist, had her abducted by his clones, and murdered one of her beloved husbands before her eyes. However, protecting Princess Teagan is personal, and Inquisitor Eli Beck will go to any lengths to bring Felix Jiri to justice, even if he must sacrifice his relationship with her to do it.

The Kodama, tree spirits, are tormenting not only a friendly neighborhood spider demon, but also Hibagon, one of Cassini’s native bigfoot.
Unfortunately, the powerful Okami shifter pack refuses to come to the aid of demons, leaving Clue to solve the mystery all alone or to seek out Liam, a serpent demon, who craves her and enjoys feeding on her fear. Determined to do the right thing at any cost, Clue may be forced to pay a price she can’t afford.

My Review of Light Dawning by Ty Arthur
In this dark, dystopian fantasy world, I felt as though I trudged along quietly with the characters all while hoping that I would not be discovered. A prevalent fearful tension had me on edge and compelled me to keep reading. I ached for some characters as they struggled with internal battles while at the same time external forces fought to eradicate them. Even with all hope seemingly gone, love and compassion couldn’t be eradicated by the supernatural and religious forces. This novel was both terrifying and thought provoking. I eagerly await the sequel. Terrifying, but achingly beautiful.
