My Review of Light Dawning by Ty Arthur

In this dark, dystopian fantasy world, I felt as though I trudged along quietly with the characters all while hoping that I would not be discovered. A prevalent fearful tension had me on edge and compelled me to keep reading. I ached for some characters as they struggled with internal battles while at the same time external forces fought to eradicate them. Even with all hope seemingly gone, love and compassion couldn’t be eradicated by the supernatural and religious forces. This novel was both terrifying and thought provoking. I eagerly await the sequel. Terrifying, but achingly beautiful.
